Cyberlytica / Team

Cyberlytica is a Newcastle University spin-out specialising in privacy-enhancing technologies.

Our work is grounded in research across AI, cybersecurity, privacy law and human-centred design. We are building an AI privacy engine that analyses digital assets and identifies privacy risks in a similar way that security tools identify cybersecurity risks.

We use information from various sources to assess mobile apps, desktop software, websites, online services and smart devices, and turn complex privacy behaviour into clear risk signals.

Our first go-to-market product brings this technology to Microsoft Intune. It helps organisations govern managed mobile apps, detect privacy risks, enforce internal policies and generate audit-ready evidence for ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and internal compliance reviews.
